A painting is finished when the conversation is over between it and me, when it no longer asks for any more

I am honored to have been selected to be an Artist in Residence at Ghost Ranch in Northern New Mexico in June 2024. It was a profound experience, truly in my Happy Place. I painted every day and most nights, inspired by the land and sky. Georgia O'Keefe's beloved adopted home and Mother Nature did not disappoint!

I also went to Mexico to San Miguel de Allende in August 2024. I was at a very personal residential retreat with the incredible contemporary Artist Isis Rodriguez at her beautiful home studio. I was so thrilled with the oil paintings I produced there and I learned excellent techniques from Isis in a stunning setting!
